World Salt Awareness Week:
Did you know that it's the high levels of sodium in salt which can lead to heart disease? During World Salt Awareness Week (9-15th March, 2020), we are encouraging everyone to switch to a low sodium alternative. The World Health Organization (WHO) identified that higher sodium intake is linked to a higher risk of fatal stroke and heart disease.1 The WHO recommends for both adults and children to reduce their sodium intake to less than 2g a day.1 Australians are consuming over 9g of salt each day and are recommended to cut this down to 5g, which equates to around 2g of sodium.2 In the lead up to World Salt Awareness Week, we'd like to offer samples of our Heart SALT product which contains 56% less sodium than regular salt (but still has the great salt taste!).
To receive your free Heart SALT sample, simply fill out the form using the following link: https://forms.gle/rLXMg7fKg7QsN9477
